Renette Gabriel, AAPRN

Ms. Gabriel is a skilled Autonomous Adult Gerontology Advanced Registered Nurse who has forged her career path with strong academic credentials and extensive work experience.

She began her academic journey at Broward College, where she earned an Associate of Science in Nursing. She then continued her studies to earn a Bachelor of Science from the University of Phoenix. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and experience, she went on to earn her Master's degree in nursing at Maryville University, concentrating on the Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner track.

Starting her career as a nurse practitioner in 2017, Ms. Gabriel focused on treating infectious diseases, using her knowledge to assist patients at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and Capital Regional Hospital who were facing life-threatening conditions. She developed her skills and made her mark in the profession under the guidance of two eminent physicians specializing in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases and are dual board-certified.

During the volatile COVID era, Ms. Gabriel was a driving influence behind the incorporation of telehealth techniques into her employer's scope. Her foresight and creative thinking strengthened the response to healthcare obstacles and guaranteed patient care even as the pandemic caused chaos.

In addition to her work in clinical settings, Ms. Gabriel is a seasoned Nurse Educator with 15 years of devoted expertise in adult education. Her assistance and mentoring are a testament to her commitment to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Ms. Gabriel is currently employed as an autonomous nurse practitioner at the Hendry County Health Department in Florida. There, she provides compassionate care to clients who are battling HIV as well as primary care for those who do not have a primary care physician.

She continues to demonstrate her commitment to healthcare outside the walls of the health department by caring for patients virtually at Sacred Heart Health and Wellness Center. This is where her attention focuses on managing chronic illnesses and providing guidance for weight transformation, revealing her holistic approach to healthcare outside of the health department.

Ms. Gabriel is the perfect example of a healthcare practitioner whose background combines clinical expertise, academic distinction, and a strong dedication to overall wellness.
